Cape St. George is a peninsula that juts out on the western coast of Newfoundland just south of Corner Brook. The scenery is awesome and on every corner of the road there are spectacular sea cliffs, waterfalls and the possibility of seeing whales and seals.
We drove through numerous villages, Port au Port, Bellmans Cove, Jerry’s Nose, Campbell’s Creek and many more with some unique names.
That tiny little dark spot out in the ocean is a seal that actually followed us along the coast line.
It was ideal rabbit territory along the coastal trail and this little fellow let me get pretty close before he bounced off into the bushes.
Off of this coast we spotted several whales however they were too far offshore to photograph.
We stopped at the little park right at the Cape and had a nice BBQ with people that we had met from Alberta.
