Fogo Island

Our first day on Fogo Island we explored a little bit and then took the Brimstone Head Trail. We were lucky with our timing of the ferry and drove straight onto the ferry. We were the last one on and they closed the gate behind us.Fogo Island Ferry

Instead of moose signs, on Fogo Island there are Caribou signs. The locals say there are approximately 1000 caribou on Fogo Island. We spotted these two as we drove slowly along the roads.Caribou
