When we arrived at Fogo we hiked the Brimstone Head Trail and then we actually took off along the coast line and found our own trail. Brimstone Head gives you a great view of the town of Fogo as well as western sunsets.

The tide was just starting to come back in while we were hiking so we explored some of the tidal pools that hadn’t had a chance to refill.  A few starfish, crabs and some minnows were easily found.

This starfish was about 4 inches in “diameter”.
