The full view of St. John’s harbour shows why it was used for military purposes in the Second World War. It is extremely well protected from the ocean and can be easily protected by the battlements at Signal Hill.
The the way to start of the trail, we passed through a small part of St. John’s and Tracy found this little “fixer-upper” that we thought bright be a good real estate investment. I’m not so sure about it but I did like the colours!
Our first true wildlife sighting. This beautiful Silver Fox was waiting at the top of the second last stairwell on the Signal Hill hike. I was able to take quite a few photos before he decided to run off along the shoreline.
